What's New?

Politically progressive citizens are on the march with Barack Obama.  It's no longer an issue of partisanship.  Instead it has to do with coming together to promote the common good.

Promoting the common good is not a materialistic phenomenon.  It is spiritual at its base.  Michael Lerner's book, "Spirit Matters," spells out the need for progressives to pay attention to the spiritual (non-tangible) aspects of their values and purposes.

What's new is the marvelous website for the Network of Spiritual Progressives at www.spiritualprogressives. org.  It is not religious.  It explores a host of issues facing our country and the planet and makes sense to any spiritual persuasion or non-persuasion.

A number of states have formed state-based networks as part of the national network and one is being developed for South Carolina.  Take at look at the Peace, Justice and Environment Project: click here: pjep.org

We will try to keep you informed as the South Carolina progressive network takes shape.
